November 15 2022

 Thank you for all your donations for the Veteran's Food Bank

This week we are practicing:

Math

-counting 1-20 forward and backward

-subtilizing: tell how many (0-10) at a glance no counting.  For example, How many cubes are there? Students will say "two" without counting.

-representing a number in different ways: pictures, tallies, ten frame, domino, number line, dice, one more and one less

-we just began to practice how to collect information (survey)  and make a concrete graph. For example, What is your favorite ice cream flavor?





Spanish: Students are writing patterned sentences with the vocabulary of fall. For example: En el otoño, yo veo una calabaza (In the fall, I see a pumpkin.



English: 
First 36 sight words
Letters and sounds: j, w, h, wh, i, x
