ELAL
Students are learning about Fables and their morals or lessons. They performed some of them: The Boy Who Cried Wolf and The Tortoise and the Hare.
Students will begin to write their own fable next week.
Math:
Students worked on estimating quantities by following some clues. They kept practicing additional and subtraction up to 20. They came up with a variety of answers for a given problem. They had to calculate how many items they could buy for a cat at a pet store for $20 dollars.
Spanish:
Students are working on completing a booklet with all the vocabulary related to summer.
Science:
Students are filling out their research poster about an animal. Here is an example the teacher used to show students how to complete theirs.
Social Studies:
Students completed their posters about the past and are now learning about two new sacred teachings: Honesty and Wisdom. They created art and wrote about these teachings.
